I have to write a poetic Eulogy about anything, it has to be creative. It can be an aimal, shape anything at all. However, I do not know what to do.
I need some ideas.
Make sure I will be able to answer the following:
describe it physically describe its personality describe its interactions
I need ideas immediatly. ThanksHow about doing something on water or a river? There should be plenty of poetic descriptions you can think on for that. For instance, you can say things such as:
For physical description: Immersing your hand in water as if through a transparent mirror; a mirror which on the other side is heavier than air; is blue, green, or of a clear crystal clarity; etc.
For personality description: a river flowing like a forceful ever-changing personality; flows ever-on-ward; never looking back but forward; etc.
For interactive description: It gives and takes life; it represents a journey of many rivers joining into one or a few; veins of the land; life force; etc.
I do not know in what manner your poem should be in but I hope this will give you some ideas. Try simple, natural, or elemental things like fire, forests, mist, cities, oceans, or whatever you think of. Use your imagination. If you have trouble being creative, try jotting down your thoughts and ideas on paper (using methods such as free-writing, listings, or diagrams). I hope this helps.Calm down! Everything'll be fine... (Is this poem a homework assignment, say one that's due tomorrow at the start of class? I can understand that sort of stress. =/)
How about these concepts:
The neighbor's dog. "That darn dog my neighbors had passed away, now I can finally get some sleep..."
A hot cup of tea/coffee/cocoa. "I drank about half before moving on to do my work. By the time I got back it had turned cold..."
A broken computer/CD player/cell phone/iPod/other bit of technology that one would miss. "I remember the good times I had with that cell phone, the one that lies broken on the sidewalk, run over by a rogue moped. Calling my friends, my family, my lab partner and demanding to know if she had turned the bunsen burner off before we left the chem lab..."
Whatever you end up writing about, just remember that it doesn't have to be sad or even neccessarily heartfelt. It could be humorous or sarcastic. All you really need to capture is the fact that your subject is transient and has moved on.
Hope this helped. Feel free to use the lines I wrote for any of those ideas if ye want and good luck.
