i have a 5th generation iPod video. recently i got a message saying i needed to connect it to my computer and restore it. after i restored it the same message came up. i keep restoring it and i keep getting the same message... any ideas?well have you tried a soft restore? thats when you hold down the middle button and the menu button at the same time for a few seconds. that may help. if not then i would take it to the apple store and have the guys at the genius bar take a look at it. if they can fix it they'll do it there or something may be wrong with your drive in which case they would either say get a new one or it needs to get serviced and they would send it away for two weeks.
