So is it really that great to have a HIGH IQ??

Ok so I've been confused.....everybody talks about how stupid it is having a HIGH IQ.....yet some ppl say its the greatest thing! and what is considered a HIGH IQ? What would count as high or is that low or average? what is a 135?Once I had a really big garage I never dreamed i could fill it up with so much junk . One day I noticed I couldn't get the door to close with the car in it ..The next time I noticed I couldn't get the door to close at all...Soon i quit using the garage and moved away unable to park at my own home...
IQ is a lot like the person described here ..Collection of tidbits never used , never organized and never reduced just clutter the path for progress.. Know the difference between education and ability to be educated and you will know the benefit of the IQ you possess...no matter what it is.....100 or 190.....From the E...High IQ's are great, and 135 is a very high IQ. If thats your IQ, I applaude you.it hasn't done much for me.I still live like most people.
137 is good. mine was higher but as I said it did not change my life.Check this site to get a better idea.135 is 5 points below 140, which is the generally accepted standard for a high IQ.

A lot of people put too much faith in the system of IQ, but it really means very little. Unless an IQ test contains hundreds of questions with a near perfect distribution based on importance in determining intelligence, the results will be skewed for most people and it will be affected differently for different people.

Generally, IQ is a fairly good indication of intelligence, but I try not to get too worked up about it.High IQ's are great 135 is great. That meens you are more intellectually strengthend. The average IQ is 90-100. Wow! You are awsome!Having a high IQ means that your logical reasoning ability is higher than average. IQ tests measure a fairly narrow range of mental abilities thought to be associated with academic potential. Success in life depends on many things, so a high IQ is no guarantee. Still, it's a nice thing to have, and saying it's stupid is just sour grapes. 135 is very good; it puts you in the top 2% of the population. The worst part of it is having to deal with the (relatively speaking) idiots around you. Mine was tested at 150 and while it's great to be able to grasp rather complicated ideas and all of their ramifications there are always people who insist on telling you (in great detail) their ideas on such pseudosciences and mythologies as UFOs, the so-called "moon landing conspiracy", astrology, etc. I've found it's pointless to argue since they usually lack a basic understanding of the physical world. Usually I just keep quiet. It hasn't made that much of a difference in my life other than I probably do a lot more reading than other people. I realize that other people read as well but I tend to be skeptical of what I read unless I have corroborating evidence. Too many people automatically believe everything they read, hear or see. Skepticism, I believe, goes along with intelligence because asking questions is paramount to learning.
